In Japan, I think that sex education for teenagers is not enough.
A lot of teachers are ashamed of talking about sex.
That's why, the number of having sex easily is increasing these days.
In Fact, I did not know how to make babies while I was a elementary school student.
In my case, after that, I became to know about it from my friends.
So I think that sex education in Japan is not equal each schools.
Next, I was much interested in "Enjyokosai".
In japan, we regard Enjyokosai as very very bad thing.
So, if the people are doing it, they tend to hide the fact and of cource, their parents do not know about that at all.
Normally, middle-aged men register for some kind of Enjyokosai site and search for girls on the Internet or mobile phones.
Next, they meet and have sex.
At last, middle-aged men give much money to girls.
There are many ways for girls to use the money, but almost of the girls use the money just for amusement and so on.
I think this trend came from richness in Japan.
Japan became relatively rich country and people became to spend more money than before.
So Japanese became to be greedy.
In addition to this, there is another tendency in Japan.
In Japan, almost every boys tend to be ashamed of not having experience of sex.
On the other hand, girls are not, I think.
So, it is said that having sex at earier stage is good for boys.
But I think this is strange. However, this is Japanese trend.
Next, about advertisement about sex.
As this article said, many kinds od magazines feature about sex issues.
For example, "non-no" and "mina" (these are very popular fashin magazines for young people in Japan) sometimes pick up this topic.
There are many question like "How many people have you ever had sex with?" or "How old were you when you did sex for the first time?" and so on.
And everyone read it at ease.

As this artcle said, Japanese teenagers tend to have same things
that the other teenagers have.
In fact, a lot of teenagers have same i-pod today in Japan.
On the other hand, my chinese friend said that Chinese teenagers dislike having same things that the others have.
So, I think having same things is the national character of Japan.
And advertisements like magazines and commercial, have great influence on Japanese teen, I think.
If the advertisement was written very attractive, teenagers will be influenced very easily in Japan.
Next, about new media.
I think telephone party lines are quite out-of-date.
In my opinion, kokan nikki is true of elementary school and junior high school students, but not high school students.
And note-passing is true of junior high and high school students. In fact, sometimes students did like this and sometimes teachers who noticed that got angry with this.
Every generation sing songs using karaoke boxes today and they enables us to reduce stress.

The thing I most interested in is the relationship of "senpai" and "kohai" in Japan.
Actually in Japan, as this book said, there are very strict relationship of kohai and senpai and
the tendency in Japan is athletic groups are likely to be hard, cultural groups to be soft.
If students belong to athletic clubs, they have to be very attentive to senpai.
Whenever they meet senpai, they are required to salute to sanpai using honorific word
and of cource they must accept senpai's ideas every time.
Furthermore, it is natural that kohai do chore in Japan.
For example, taking baggage or buying something or something like that.
If they make something mistake, they are called and cautioned
and it is impossible for them not to use honorific word.

Next, as this book said, teens have two kinds of friend relationship, typically "shinyu" and
"nakama".
We frequently meet and talk with shinyu but not with nakama.
We can talk with shinyu and e-mail them using mobile phone everyday
and we can go outside with shiinyu.
On the other hand, we are likely not to meet and go outside with nakama.
We can say almost everything to our shinyu and sometimes we consult with shinyu.

Finally about the relationship of students and teachers in Japan.
In Japan, sometimes teachers come into contact with students very friendly.
Students consider teachers to be their friend and sometimes students do not use honorific word
to teachers.
It is very easy for students to contact teachers and teachers much care of students.
But I think that this case does not apply to every situation.
However I think it is normal tendency in Japan.

It was said that "older siblings have precedence over their junoirs" in chapter 3.
But I do not think so as far as I experienced.
I have a elder sister but my parents more often spoil me compared with my elder sister and
I feel like that. So maybe I think the situation changed like younger siblings became wheedling children because Japan became relatively rich country.
I think also that parents spoil their children many times compared with the previous period.

In my case, my father works Monday to Friday and he has a lot of free time on Saturday and Sunday.
My mother is a housewife but she is very active, so she sometimes works.
She makes breakfast and dinner and when I come back to my home,
she meets me at the front door everyday.
When I stay home, my father and mother sometimes try to speak to me.
I feel that my father is a little far person for me and my mother is my friend.
As chapter3 said, my mother want me to study a lot, so I am not required to help housework everyday.
My father is not my type, so we do not have a lot contact between my father and me.

After reading this chapter, I thought that maybe Japan and America have similar situation.
Children sometimes want to independent, but parents often make us not.
